She is currently receiving treatments at Toledo Children's Hospital, and her treatment plan includes 2 ½ years of chemo. Dad works full-time, and Mom stays home to care for Megan.

Update as of January 2010

Megan was diagnosed with cancer when she was just 3-years old. It's hard to believe that little girl is now 7-years old! Her mom Amy reports that Megan is doing GREAT!!! Megan still has to visit the hospital every 3-months for lab work and a physical and if everything remains stable she'll only have to visit the hospital every 6-months.

Megan is adjusting very well in school. It took some time for her to catch up with everyone else, but the good news is she did. Amy reports that Megan doesn't have any problem telling you what's on her mind...a trait we think she gets from her mother! Amy also reports that things are returning to normal at home again! "Gary and I take one day at a time, not taking one moment of our lives with our kids for granted...and praying to God that the cancer never comes back."
