Tabatha was chosen as our 2004 sponsor child. She was diagnosed with A.L.L. (Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia) on July 27, 2002.

Tabatha had a smile that could light up a room, and she often times did. All of the members of T.H.A.N.K.S. who met her instantly had a friend for life.

Tabatha was to receive an umbilical cord cell transplant in early December of 2004. Unfortunately, due to complications, she never had the opportunity to undergo this potentially life-saving transplant. Tabatha passed away on January 1, 2005 in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Mott Children's Hospital in her mother's arms.
